STICKS RIVER PRODUCTIONS is an independent video production company dedicated to bringing beautiful (and, often) unsettling images to the screen. In classic Millennial fashion, Karl Pfeiffer is a creator who wears all the hats, learning from the ground up each part of the video creation process, from shooting to lighting, audio to editing, color grading and music design. He specializes in bringing a big-budget feel to any project, no matter what resources are available.

These days, Karl primarily focuses on his own independent documentary projects, working with his partners at PLANET WEIRD to bring cerebral, high-concept documentary films and series to light, expanding the limits of what traditional paranormal programming and "reality" television have to offer. While Sticks River and Planet Weird always have multiple projects going at any given time, in between, Karl tends to focus on the occasional music video, commercial project, or short/feature film. His recurring clients are the rock artist and songwriter Raven Quinn, the haunted, historic, and beautiful Winchester Mystery House, and the master illusionist Aiden Sinclair.

While Sticks River and Karl have the opportunity now to be more selective about projects, he still enjoys new opportunities to try different styles, genres, and techniques when there's time.
